MY STORY
Nine years ago I walked into Consumer Credit counseling services with a small collection item. Seeking advice from the organization how to prepare in buying my first house. I was assigned a counselor who not only advised me on my credit issues, but informed me of all the programs available in assisting me with the purchase of my first home. After completing an 8 hour class I became eligible for funds allocated for foreclosures. The particular program I chose was called NSP. There were some difficult moments because sometimes I lost out to cash buyers making it an uphill battle. Ultimately in the end I have a great success story. I have now been a homeowner for 8 1/2 years. I can’t thank financial guidance center enough for the opportunity to educate me, provide me the money for closing costs and down payment to buy my very first house. The feeling of pride when I walk into my house can’t be explained in words it has to be experienced. I have worked in the gaming industry for many years and because of this opportunity from the program I have chosen to become a realtor so I could empower those with the feeling of owning their own new home . Many realtors aspire to sell the biggest most expensive homes. I would like to help those who have interest in being a first time home buyer.
